INTEGRATED AYURVEDIC MEDICINE YOGA TREATMENT FOR DIGESTION 

Ayurveda also names three elemental substances, the doshas (called Vata, Pitta and Kapha), and states that a balance of the doshas results in health, while imbalance results in disease. One Ayurvedic view is that the doshas are balanced when they are equal to each other, while another view is that each human possesses a unique combination of the doshas which define this person’s temperament and characteristics. In either case, it says that each person should modulate their behavior or environment to increase or decrease the doshas and maintain their natural state.

Ayurvedic therapies have varied and evolved over more than two millennia.Therapies are typically based on complex herbal compounds, while treatises introduced mineral and metal substances (perhaps under the influence of early Indian alchemy or rasaśāstra). Ancient Ayurvedic treatises also taught surgical techniques, including rhinoplasty, perineal lithotomy, the suturing of wounds, and the extraction of foreign objects.

In today’s world of technology, where all of us are hooked to one gadget or the other, symptomatic pains like neck, back and knee pain are unavoidable. The only solution to this is incorporate exercising in our daily life to avoid medication and lead a healthy and stress free life.Practicing yoga or intensive stretching may improve chronic pains generally in the neck, back and knees and reduce the need for pain medications. yoga’s benefits on back function and symptoms were largely physical, due to the stretching and strengthening of muscles.” Doing yoga cultivates a balance between theflexibility and strength of the muscles of the body, often the real culprit in back and neck pain. Most people are tight in key areas affecting the spine – in the hips and shoulders, for example. A system like yoga, which releases muscle tension, can improve back pain. As a whole-body system, yoga develops body awareness and places emphasis onalignment. This means that the proper location of each body part (feet, knees, hips, spine, shoulder, head) affects all the others. Arm Balance

This workshop will provide in-depth instruction and guidance with challenging arm balances. We will also examine techniques on how to protect your joints by using various bandhas. Create freedom and strength in hip, neck and shoulders. Strengthen and lengthen the muscles around these joints and create space in these areas. Come learn a pathway to channel these postures into your everyday practice with ease and excitement!

Inversion
The inverted postures of yoga are some of the most beneficial yet intimidating of the asanas. You will be introduced to and practice postures such as headstand, forearm stand, handstand, and more. You will be guided through alignment, technique, proper modifications, and feel how to develop the power in your core strength. Learn to use the wall, or a buddy, as a way to continue practicing inversions beyond this class.

Acro Yoga Part-1 & 2

The classes are open to everyone and will be adapted depending on your level. Come fly, learn and laugh with us! Total 5 hours of teaching in a safe environment! This workshop will be oriented acrobatic. Ingredients of the workshop will be:

  • Warm Ups with Yoga Flows and Fun Games
  • Handstand Inversion Training
  • Creative Flying into the world of shoulder stands: Belly-basing, Reverse Shoulder-stand, free shoulder-stand and Flows around the different shoulder-stand variations

Falling in Love with Back Bend (Back bend class)

This class is guided to focus on Forrest Yoga method of creating space in the spine and decompress lower back in back bend poses. We will also learn how to engage back muscles to open Chest, Diaphragm and abdominal muscles easily in a deep back bend poses. Learning to practice this way will deliver fresh blood and oxygen to the spine and realign the whole back muscles to vitalize the spine. Practice back bends without pain will teach you to stay in feeling for creating space in and around the heart. Experiencing this deep release will make you fall in love with back bends.

Sin Hee Ye-McCabe, Sin Hee has been actively working as Forrest Yoga Guardian teacher since 2007 to present. Her teaching and mission has been evolving through changes in life and mending the hoop of people. Realizing daily life of survival gets all of us in repeating pattern and sometimes we get numbs from feeling the truth of reality. Burden of stressful situations don’t go away from running away or ignoring them. Teaching and reminding students and herself having intent, love and healing is on going progress in life. New Year Charity Yoga Festival on January 2, 2016 hosted by Yogaonethatiwant Studios & Inspired Yoga Studio. The Festival will be held at Eon Head Office Complex in Glenmarie, beautiful venue kindly sponsored by Eon Automart.

Yogaonethatiwatiwant Studios is the fastest growing Yoga Studio chain in Malaysia with 8 locations in 2 years – Founded by Malaysian Jazz Singer & Celebrity Certified Yoga Instructor, Atilia Haron, who is also the first Brand Ambassador for Eon Automart Mitsubishi; and Inspired Yoga Studio, a renowned Yoga Studio known for their Yoga Teacher Training Courses and other courses – Founded by Foo Jong Hau, one of Malaysia’s top Yoga Instructors.

YOGA ANATOMY SERIES-3: HAPPY LEGS

Using practical examples and easy to understand approach, Michelle will reveal the anatomy of the major joints in the upper extremity, namely neck, scapula, shoulder girdle, elbows & wrists; and how these structures can cause obstacles in asana practice. Asana modification /precautions specific to each region will be introduced. Common dysfunctions such as poking chin, thoracic kyphosis, chronic shoulder dislocation, shoulder impingement, carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow will also be discussed.

  1. Common spinal dysfunction: poking chin, thoracic kyphosis, chronic shoulder dislocation, shoulder impingement, carpal tunnel syndrome will be introduced; causes, implications & precautions
