Day-1: Friday 6th Jan – ‘I Am Enough’
When we recognise that we are enough the hard work becomes effortless

    A Therapeutic Practise that prepares us to go deeper towards our intrinsic core. When we are able to reach our breath into these layers more of our unresolved core tensions can dissolve.
  • 12.30 – 2.00pm: Lunch break
  • 2.00pm – 4.30pm ‘The Secrets Of Savasana’
    Adjustments for the hips, spine and shoulders that are from the tradition of Thai Massage Bodywork to prepare for deep healing Savasana practise. Learn how to build the foundations of holding space by practising basic techniques of Cranial work and watch how your own holding of space changes tissue, breath and nervous system health.

Day-2: Saturday 7th Jan – ‘Authenticity Breeds Gravitation’

    An Deep Hip Opening Experience
    This longer session has been created so that we can take more time to stay in poses as we work on refined cues that access the pelvis, hip flexors, extensors and the rotations that make pigeons and head to ankle more delightful. Long hip opening sequences enable us to reach deeper inside to access our gifts.
  • 12.30pm – 2pm : Lunch break
  • 2.00pm – 4.30pm :Functional Anatomy of the Hips
    This session will increase your confidence in feeling and understanding the complex dynamics that are your hips, why they are the way that they are and what we can do in our yoga practise and hands on assists that will deepen your practise and boost your self belief in using your own hands.

Sunday 8th Jan – ‘For The Love Of Healing Backbends’

Therapeutic back bends help to bring energy up to the surface. After the deep work that we have done, expect to be able to bring it forward in a digestible way by using this sequence to extract what is hidden within your intrinsic core and allowing it to shine on the surface of your skin.

  • 9.00am – 10.00am: Ceremony/Meditation
  • 10.00am – 12.30pm: Backbends practice
  • 12.30-2.00pm : Lunch break
  • 2.00pm – 4.30pm: The Functional Anatomy of the back. We going connect to some of the wisest and longer muscles of the body, understand how they relate to back pain and how they can used effectively to improve intrinsic strength

Jambo Truong Malaysia

Jambo is one of the few Forrest Yoga Guardians, practitioners hand picked by Ana Forrest to spread and continue the legacy of Forrest Yoga. He is a practitioner of Complementary Medicine with special interests in Functional Anatomy and Neuro-Muscular Activation techniques. Jambo uses these modalities to share his passion for movement and functional mobility.
Jambo has also apprenticed with Esther Lim (senior Shaman) & Jong Baik (Classical East Asian Medicine).

12:00pm to 2:00pm Liberate your body from pain (2hrs)

This workshop is for yoga practitioners of all levels who may be managing injuries or chronic pain. The workshop covers backache management, myofascial release, restorative yoga therapy and also provides information on adopting a lifestyle that enables a pain-free life. Most people have no idea how good their bodies are supposed to feel because they have been living in pain for so long. You can find instant relief from this session.

Day-2: 18 December 2016 (Sunday)

9:00am to 11:00am Hatha Yoga Alignment (2hrs)

Learn how to come into an enabling yoga practice that is accessible, strengthening and stabilizing. Learn the finer points of asana alignment and learn to achieve yoga poses that require a deeper level of flexibility, without creating instability and injury. Suitable for beginner to intermediate level students.

12:30pm to 2:00pm Pranayama and Yoga Nidra (90min)

A daily pranayama practice can change the energy and direction of your life. Learn the techniques of proper pranayama practice as it is meant to be. Experience the liberating relaxation of yoga nidra to come into bliss and restfulness.

Lee May Yee, Cindy is a graduated Music student from University of Newcastle, AUS. She found Yoga and Pilates at Newcastle where she undertake additional Ballet training. She was really surprise with the combination of Yoga and Pilates, her stamina, flexibility and strength improved greatly. Cindy completed both Foundation & advanced teacher training with Ana Forrest. It makes huge different with her teaching as well as self-improve. The Art of Assisting often found at a Forrest Yoga class, students will be hands-on assisted and guided to breathe, to find better postures and alignments, encouraging them to feel their bodies of how and where they are supposed to feel.
