Chen Taiji Quan origins from Chen Village(Chen Jia Gou) in Henan Province of China. It was created by Chen WangTing about 400 years ago. Chen Taiji Quan has attracted its practitioners because of its unique outstanding“Silk Reeling Energy”.It has also maintained the traditional practice of“Explosive Power”, “Stomping”, “ Jumping”which is rarely found in other style of Taiji Quan. Chen Taiji Quan was created based upon China Military Tactics(Wushu) ,the Yin and Yang theory from “Yijing”, the theory of meridians in Chinese Medicine and breathing of Qi Inducing Practice . Therefore, practitioners are required to concentrate in corrdinations of every parts of body to achieve the synchronisations of upper and lower body, relaxations of articulations and finally exercise full body.

2005年开始练习陈氏太极拳
2006年被选入教练团。开始接受教学训练。
多次参于国内大小型太极拳比赛并荣獲冠、亚军。
2011年赴太极拳发源地,中国河南陈家沟向陈氏太极拳第12代嫡宗传人-陈炳老师系统学习深造。
予2014年ITEW国际太极拳段位制考核荣獲陈氏太极拳国际六段拳师文憑。
RAYMOND GOH
Chen Taijiquan 6th Grade (International Senior Achiever), Principal / Chief Instructor of Chen Taiji Academy.
2005 – started Chen Taiji training
2006 – Elevated to coach training .
Won numerous awards(1st and 2nd runner up) in domestic Taiji Quan Tournament.
2011 – Went to Chen Jia Gou, Henan province of China, the birth place of Taiji Quan, for further improvement. It has been a great honour to be taught by master Chen Bing – 12th generation lineage holder of the Chen Taiji Quan.
2014 – Obtained 6th Grade (International Senior Achiever) certificate from ITEW International Taijiquan Duan Wei Grade System Examination.

Class consist of setting an intention, moving through healing sounds, restorative poses, pranayama & Yoga Nidra which systematically takes you into a total rejuvenation and healing. There you are guided into various techniques that allow you to reach the state of complete effortlessness.
We will provide you a yoga mat, you will need to bring two sturdy yoga blocks, one buckled yoga cotton straps, and one or two large towel or blanket to support you during the restorative poses.
This class is open for all level of practitioners whom desire to seek to deepen their meditation or simply, relaxation from daily stress.

NICK HENG
Traveller, dog lover, music, meditation, lifetime Yoga student. Nick is a lifetime yoga student since he was a teens. Having trained in initial Yoga training with late Vincent Tam in 2006, studied and practiced Amy Ippoliti, Desiree Rumbaugh, Noah Maze and completed 500 hours training with Edward Clark on 2011. Past four years Nick practices have evolved with Forrest Yoga with mentor/guardians Erica Mather, Sinhee-Ye McCabe and Jambo Truong. Nick is leading yoga teachers training, workshops, retreats across Asia. Nick is also presenting LES MILLS BODYBALANCE in Asia Pacific.
