iRyne Yogavatar is a new age yogini, the founder of YOGAVATAR New Age Yoga and co-founder of www.ispirit.asia. Yoga has been her central focus of life since 2004 and teaching since 2011. She is an International Yoga Instructor registered with the Ministry of Education Malaysia and also a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance at E-RYT500 advanced level, where her certification from Malaysia, Thailand and India. She is also a registered Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider YACEP. 

For the past few years she has started to make a more organised and conscious choice to share all the aspects of her practices and hoped to encourage a mindful practice and cultivating self-love. All of these have inspired her to take another wonderful level of nurturing and transforming yoga practitioners, where she is the lead trainer for Yogavatar Yoga Teacher Training Course. She is in the mission of spreading yoga love through the elements of YOGAVATAR~ Explore the Boundaries, Learn Abundantly, Ignite the Practice, Be Inspired and Transform, and Share Unconditionally.

iRyne’s style of teaching is based on New Age Yoga which draws experience and knowledge from Hatha yoga; that integrates with the courage of creative energy that sculpt yoga poses artistically and allow you to experience a different range of sensations in the body and mind. It paves the connection in heightening your true nature to connect that universal creative force resides in you and significantly build high spirits. Yoga practitioners benefit through her attention of details of proper alignment and modifications are recommended in accordance to practitioners’ experience, energy and prowess. Her goal is to guide her practitioners in the awakening of their own potential that brings peaceful yoga energy into her practitioners’ life on and off the mat.

iGNITE WITH PASSION
iRyne discovered her own potential through a daily yoga practice. Her yoga practice has brought her such great pleasure to share her life’s passion as a teacher with diverse cultures of people since 2010. It has skewed her life vision to a whole new depth of transformation with the world allowing more joy, humility, peace, and happiness. iRyne’s passion for teaching and developing practitioners has evolved over the years. She is driven with such great honour of having the privilege to teach yoga of more than 100 hours a month to practitioners which was incredibly enriching. She is dedicated to support practitioners at all levels of practice awarding them far greater strength, balanced, flexibility and personal evolution.

iNVIGORATING STYLE
iRyne’s style of teaching draws experience and knowledge from Hatha Yoga, with the flow of energy and expression of “YOGAVATAR”. The emergence of YOGAVATAR is associated with YOGA and AVATAR which she expressed that the Universe is the source of power for expansion – harmonizing our physical, mental and spiritual. She is devoted to teach and educate practitioners of all levels with her electrifying sequences, so you can expect to flirt with gravity in her classes. Nevertheless, she believes Yoga is for everyone and makes contact with her practitioners gently. Her classes are meticulously themed to deepen the practitioner’s experience in Hatha Yoga and modifications are recommended in accordance to practitioners’ experience, energy and prowess. They benefit through precise instructions and it is her habitual in reminiscent on the importance of proper alignment with breath. Her goal is to guide her practitioners in the awakening of their own potential that brings peaceful yoga energy into her practitioners’s life on and off the mat.

iNCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE
She has over 5,000 hours teaching experience of Hatha Yoga and other various styles such as Power Yoga, Power Stretch, Vinyasa, Equipment Yoga, Hot Detox and Pranayama. She is a license instructor for Floating Yoga, BOSU, TRX.

iNSPIRATIONAL EFFORTS
Apart from teaching, she is also active in yoga community activities. She is invited as a judge for Malaysia International Yoga Competition for 5 consecutive years since 2010; Her achievements in yoga also spans out in assisting to conduct Teacher Training in Thailand; She contributed quarterly yoga and wellness article for a corporate company; She also performs yoga demonstration for corporate launches events; She is the first prize winner for Yoga Contest of  “Adidas Cool is On 2012” and “ evolution Asia Yoga Conference 2014”.

iLLUMINATE SPIRIT

In 2011, iRyne co-founded www.iSpirit.asia. iSpirit is a new age Yoga & Fitness organisation that promotes healthy lifestyle by organising Yoga & Fitness activities to the communities such as retreats, workshops, trainings, community give back events and share the authentic colour of love for Yoga & Fitness to inspire people to live their most extraordinary life. Yoga and Fitness is the seed of change. The more people we can teach to embrace it, the better our world will be.

This fun packed inversion class is guided to focus on the art of building foundations for viewing the world upside down integrated with the courage of creative energy that sculpt inversion yoga poses artistically and allow you to experience a different range of sensations in the body and mind. YogArt of Back-Bending


This class is guided to focus on the art of heart opening and decompress the lower back in back-bend poses. With the integration of the creative energy that sculpts back-bend yoga poses artistically allow you to experience a different range of sensations in the body and mind. Suitable for all levels of yoga practitioner.

YogArt of Arm Balancing


This fun packed arm-balance class is guided to focus on the art of building foundations for core stability and balancing. With the integration of the creative energy that sculpts arm-balance yoga poses artistically allow you to experience a different range of sensations in the body and mind. Suitable for all levels of yoga practitioner.

YogArt of Twisting


This class is guided to focus on the art of creating space in the spine in twisting poses. YogArt of Hip-Opening

In this slow, flowing practise you will methodically dig deeper into your hip sockets with both symmetrical and asymmetrical poses that balance the cultivation of flexibility with stability. This will be strong and deep, but safe for all.

WORKSHOP #1 : Creating Smooth Waves

OBJECTIVE

Learn how to deepen your practice without force in this flow yoga workshop leaving you in a better place of mind, body and spirit. You will gain an understanding how to move in and out of poses; Creating Smooth Waves. Prepare to experiment rapid transition into asanas such as backbends, hip openers, twists, standing postures and more.

OVERVIEW

The channel of Creating Smooth Waves is an expression 2 of the 5 elements that are consciously synchronized, refined and unified with our body, breath and mind when practice of yoga asanas consciously. The 2 elements that applies to the Creating Smooth Waves is the Air and Water element:

Energy in the Air: Yogic BREATHING and CONCENTRATION: The Air Element (Vayu) in the body refers to both the breath and creating space in the body. The breath is the basis of all yoga, since without breath; yoga (or life, for that matter) does not exist. Air is what carries the vital energy or “prana” (“chi” in Chinese philosophy) throughout the body and the universe. It is the essence of all life and can be focused on in yoga practice by literally bringing space or air into specific areas of the body in the postures (such as increasing the spaces between the vertebrae of the spine…lengthening). Pranayama, or breath control, sometimes means prolonging or restraining breath, but always requires a mindful awareness and all-encompassing focus on the breath. To practice breathing techniques is to initiate changes in the psychological, physical, neural and cerebral areas, increasing memory and creativity. It will strengthen your willpower and steady your mind. Air is the element representing the 4th/Heart Chakra.

Flow with Water: Dynamic and fluid practice of yoga poses and movement following your breath: The Water Element (Apah, Jala) in the body refers to the water that flows through our veins, or the circulatory system in the body. Health is only possible as the water element remains flowing in the body. While in our yoga postures (asanas) we may need to consciously increase the flow of blood into a particular area of the body. Sometimes the practice also takes on a flowing action, with one movement fluidly moving into the next. Water has almost magical properties and is essential to life (our bodies are 70% water), with incredible healing and cleansing powers. It is a universal symbol for the soul and is the element representing the 2nd/Sacral Chakra, the area where new life is generated.

  • During this flow yoga session, you will try to give yourself enough time to reach the pose so the flow remains continuous, except in the final pose of each set we will hold. Adding on with the principle of practicing safely with correct alignment will spice up the transition – making it core effective, true balance and mediation motion.

  • Creating Smooth Wave (Move with Breath) 
  • The essential quality of flow yoga in asana is the breath. Our breath is a stimulant, it brings vitality to our body, mind and spirit. During this flow session, you will learn to control your breath which is smooth, deep and rhythmic; and notice the effects immediately that develops mobility and flexibility and open a treasury of benefits.

WORKSHOP #2 : Power from the Earth and Light to the Sky

OBJECTIVE

A Fun-filled exploration of Hatha Yoga, to prepare the body for stronger Arm Balances and Inversions. You will explore the power from the earth in creative ways to get into Arm Balances and Inversions. The workshop will also explore the transition capacity for creating greater lightness that unleash the inner power and balancing on the hands.

OVERVIEW

The 2 elements that applies to the Power from the Earth and Light to the Sky is the Earth and Fire element:

Grounded to the Earth: The Earth Element (Prithvi) in the body refers to our connection with the earth, the place where the raw elements for our bodies came from. We may bring more “earth” awareness into our yoga practice when we focus on grounding, building a firm base of support, connecting with the earth beneath us. Many times in our lives we become too “lofty” in our thoughts and need to come down to Earth to feel grounded and secure. In balancing postures, for instance, our stability is facilitated through deepening our connection with the Earth. Sometimes the Earth also refers to the Planet that we call home…exploring our connection with our Planet and the beauty and wonders that it holds… which we are all responsible to preserve. The Earth element is represented in the 1st/Root Chakra of the body. This style of yoga is suitable for beginners. Encourage proper alignment of the body and bring balance, strength, and calmness to the practitioner.

Power of Fire: The Fire Element (Agni) in the body refers to the internal warmth and heat that is generated in certain postures, especially standing postures, and provides the energy and “will” to go on even when we want to quit. It is the source of light and creates and destroys, symbolizing the soul in many beliefs. In our yoga practice, fire is of particular focus in standing postures and in our vinyasa flows, or in any posture where we wish to generate heat, power and resolve. Sometimes your hand (or your mental focus) may need to be placed in specific areas on your body to generate heat in those areas (i.e. your sacrum). It is the element representing the 3rd/Solar Plexus Chakra…the brain for our body.

Power from the Earth (Feel Grounded and Secure)
Balancing the entire body on the hands requires absolute focus. During this session, you will apply effort through intentional muscular action for example pressing down more firmly through your hands into the floor. You will explore the practice with sense of humour and playfulness. Adding on practice with patience makes you more accessible and sustainable to the asana and cultivate self-confidence.

PEAK
Light to the Sky (Strength is the focus and balance is the key)
Along with strength and stability in the wrists, arms and shoulders; arm balances require awaken the abdominal core muscles. During this session, you will balance between active engagement and spreading through the core is one of the key elements to balancing the body on the hands. This will help you to create a feeling of lifting and radiating out from you core.
